Images are not displayed

There are three main reasons why a recipient may not see the images in your email.

To cover every situation where images can not be loaded, we recommend that you include a link "view online" in your email campaign, by setting the alt attribute for all images like this your recipients will be able to see the images of your email through the web browser. Email should use both text and images as well instead of images use only.

Here are some of the main reasons why recipients may not see images in your emails campaign.

Email client is blocking images from external hosts

To reduce the email campaign size and increase the delivery capabilities. The images in the email will be hosted on the Taximail server instead of sending the image attached to the email. Email clients will consider these images as "remote" or "external" and may be set up as follows.

  • Do not display images in emails.
  • Display images in the email every time an email is sent from a specific or trusted sender.
  • Show pictures in the email every time.

Desktop and webmail email clients may have that setting, depending on personal preference or administrator control. In case you can not control these settings, the best strategy for dealing with image blocked is.

  • Keep your email recipients list up to date and engage them with email content that members want to receive.
  • Do not create email campaign with only images.
  • Verify that all images are configured with the Alt attribute.
  • Specify an email link for reading through a web browser in the email campaign.

Caution: If the recipient does not display images, it will affect the email campaign's open rate.

Email client not support background images

A number of email clients, including Microsoft Outlook in Windows, do not support background images. We recommend selecting a background color similar to your image as an alternative.

The firewall is blocking access to our image server

The firewall with strict rules is most often found in government organizations. This may block images from your domain. In this case, the administrator will need to change the firewall rules so that the images can be displayed.

For those who have problems with the firewall, which block the images displayed, you will have to contact the administrators in order to be added to their whitelist domain.
