Upload problem

If you have trouble uploading images to Taximail's content manager, check out these common problems you have as a backup alternative.

  • Image too large If your image takes a long time to upload or can't upload because the file is too large. It is recommended that you use an image editor to resize the image to 2MB or less.
  • The file type is not valid Make sure that the image file you uploaded is in .png .jpg and .gif.
  • The image file contains spaces or special characters If you use a URL to upload images from your own server, make sure the file name contains no spaces or special characters. Some email clients do not display images with filenames, spaces, or special characters. Remove or replace with a dash (-) or an underscore (_).

Display problems

If your image cannot be displayed in the recipient's inbox, there are a few things you can do to make sure that the recipient sees the picture properly.

  • Email clients block images Some email clients block images by default and allow recipients to choose to display images. In this case, Taximail can't avoid or modify these security features. Ask the recipient to add your email address to a contact list or a secure sender list to increase the chances that the email client will display your picture.
  • Image colors are distorted Save images in RGB format, which is suitable for displaying on the web. Images formatted as CMYK color schemes are ideal for printing, they are not suitable for on-screen displays.
  • Background images are not displayed A number of email clients, including versions of Microsoft Outlook in Windows, do not support background images. We recommend selecting a background color similar to that of the image as an alternative.
  • Images are deposited on hosting or shared files Do not deposit images used in free hosting campaigns or free website accounts like Dropbox or Tumblr. These systems often block external links to images. Deposit to reduce bandwidth. It's a good idea to deposit your images on your own server or use our Content Manager.
