Why is security so important?

Taximail values the website security because we want the customers to feel safe and assured when they use our service they are protected.

Data loss protection

  • All databases have standby replica of your data
  • Account data back-up on a daily basis.
  • When service is terminated, all customers data and backup files will be purged within 24 hours.

Application Security

  • Taximail account passwords are hashed. If you lose your password, it can't be retrieved, you must reset it.
  • All login pages from our website pass data via SSL/TLS.
  • We perform regular security penetration tests, using different software and vendors before releasing a new version.
  • When the recipient's MX server support the STARTTLS protocol, the email will be transported to a new tunnel.

Internal IT Security

  • The office is secured by biometric access and is monitored with infrared cameras throughout.
  • Two factors authentication is required for all server access.
  • Our email specialists work with our developers to make sure some features comply with applicable international spam and privacy laws.

Internal protocol

  • All employees sign a non-disclosure agreement outlining their responsibility in protecting customer data.
  • All new employees are given security guidelines for using social media.
  • We have an employee termination process which disables all access within 5 minutes.
