Learn about Global suppression

When the contact email is added to the Global suppression, this means that emails will not be sent to them anymore. Even if those emails are in the list. This reduces the difficulty of sending a campaign to an inactive email, lower the cost of sending your campaign. To view an email in Global Suppression list, follow these steps:

  1. Select Lists on the main menu.
  2. Click the Global suppression.

Status the status of the email is...

  • Suppressed by you means emails that are imported to Global suppression by the user.
  • Suppressed by recipient means your contact unsubscribe.
  • Suppressed by complaint means your contacts complain through email providers (ESPs) that the campaign or email transaction you send is spam.
  • Suppressed by hard bounced means email that the mail server of the contact bounced for some reason.

Reason the reason for the contact's email bounced.

Listed on the time when the contact's email was added to Global suppression.
