Set the custom field to default

You can set defaults for custom fields within the list. This will allow you to add information to the list immediately without having to set it up later.

Add default fields to the list

To add default fields to the list, follow these steps:

1. Select Settings on the main menu.
2. Select Custom fields.
3. Click the plus sign (+) at the bottom right corner for adding the new field.

4. After the settings are complete, click the Apply button.
   • Name name of the fields.
   • Key value for the field reference when calling the API.
   • Fallback value value to display if the contact has no information in that field.
   • Data type the type of data in the fields.
   • Type the type of fields such as field default and custom fields.
   • Merge tag specific text enclosed by braces { } and percentage %, used for inserting dynamic content.

Edit the default fields in the list

To edit the default fields in the list, follow these steps:

1. Select Settings on the main menu.
2. Select Custom fields.
3. Select the field you want. Click theicon to edit.

Tips: Click theicon to cancel the field edit. Or click theicon to delete the field.

4. After editing the finished. Click the Apply button to save.

Delete the default field in the list

To delete the default field in the list, follow these steps:

1. Select Settings on the main menu.
2. Select Custom fields.
3. Select the field you want. Click theicon and click theicon to delete.

4. Click the Apply button to save.

Limits for fields

• You can add up to 50 custom fields to each list. Each custom field value has a data limit of 1024 characters.
• The type Text(1024) field stores data that is up to 1024 characters and cannot be used in conjunction with the segmentation of contacts.
