If you have a MySQL database you can connect your database to the Taximail List then all your data will be automatically updated.
Before you start
- You must have a list for storing email contacts.
- You must create custom fields to save internal data lists in accordance with the fields in your database. The main field that needs to be between the database is an Email address and Modify date (YYYY-MM-DD HH: MM: SS format). If there is no such field, the system will not be able to sync with your database.
To import an email list by Synchronization MySQL database, follow these steps.
- Select Integrations on the main menu.
- Click the plus sign (+) at the bottom right corner.
- Select List Synchronization MySQL and click Next button.
- In Connection Settings section specify details then click the Next button.
- Target list select list that you want to import email contacts by Synchronization.
- Sync Interval select how often to sync, every hour, every day, every week, and sync is off.
- MySQL hostname or IP address specify a hostname or IP Address.
- Port specify port.
- Use secure connection Connection security in the database.
- Username specify the username.
- Password specify the password.
Note: If you have a firewall security system, this will prevent access to data.
You will also need to assign the Taximail IP to access the data. Here are the two IPs, 13.228.34.102 and 13.228.34.105.
- In Select database and table section specify details then click the Next button.
- Database name Specify the database name.
- Data source Data format.You can choose between Use selected table Select data in the database and Use specified query specify the command used to select the data that you want to sync.
- In Select Fields to Map then select match field to match your data type then Click button Apply to connect via MySQL database.
Caution: The required fields for synchronization are the Email address and the Modify date. If none of these fields are present, Taximail will not be able to sync with your external database.
