When you send a campaign to the recipient's mail server where the email filter is installed. The filter includes many software that is tested for spam. The higher the score, the more likely it is to be "Spam".

Email spam filters use different criteria to judge incoming email. Different spam scores are evaluated depending on the server system that receives the destination email. The best way to avoid mistakes is to better understand those spam filters.

1. Go to the campaign design step.
2. Click theicon at the campaign edit toolbar.
3. Click the Spam Testing, it measures the spam score of the campaign with 4 popular software.

SpamAssassin

The powerful spam detection and protection software are very popular because it is open source. The behavior of the detection software analyzes the feasibility of the components of the email to determine whether the email is a disturbing email to the recipient.

Click the View Score Detail to view the SpamAssassin spam detection details.

If your email has a high spam score, it could be because of the following:

• HTML has a low ratio of text to image area.
• The "From" email address is inaccurate.
• Spam trigger words.
• Contains an URL listed in the blacklist.
• Subject is all capitals.
• etc.

Trend Micro InterScan Messaging

Software that protects and secures data from the sender to the recipient, from a variety of threats and it can manage security at one console reducing management costs and optimizing your organization.

Microsoft Exchange

A mail server developed by Microsoft helps protect incoming and outgoing emails from malicious software and protects your network from spam sent through email.

Spam Pilot Inspector

This service provides email hosting that filters and safeguards email messages for organizations to prevent malware and various types of attacks. It can check for broken links in your newsletters and identify blacklisted and whitelisted accounts. Additionally, it includes validating email accuracy through checking various components such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, rDNS, A Record, and MX Record to ensure incoming emails are legitimate and secure.

Taximail classifies spam into 3 levels, separated by color:

• Green only strict servers will block your email.
• Yellow may end up in a "junk" folder.
• Red could be completely blocked or deleted by some ISPs.

Note: The spam score for a campaign is based on the defaults of each software. The color and score of the software do not affect the delivery of your campaign. You can send a campaign out of Taximail as usual.
