Use a custom SMS Sender

What is SMS Sender?

SMS Sender is the name that appears on the phone of the SMS message recipient. To show who the sender, which is commonly used as your brand name or business name.

What SMS Sender can I use?

At Taximail, you can register to use your custom sender name. From a minimum of 3 to maximum 11 characters consisting of numbers 0-9 and letters a-z, A-Z. Characters outside this range (e.g. <space>) may or may not be supported depending on the destination operator.

Some countries may have restrictions on using custom sender names or may not support this feature at all. Therefore, senders who do not comply with the regulations of that country may be replaced by the operator's name or Taximail to ensure that your SMS messages will be sent to the recipient. Learn more about supported countries and don't support custom SMS sender.

Register to use your custom SMS sender's name

To register to use your custom SMS sender's name, follow these steps:

1. Select Settings on the main menu.
2. Select Verified SMS sender.
3. Click the plus sign (+) at the bottom right corner.

4. Specify details in the fields provided.
   • Prefix select the country code you want to register to use the sender's name. Which for other countries that aren't in options, you can use a custom sender without registration.
   • SMS Sender specify the name of the sender you want from a minimum of 4 to maximum 11 characters consisting of numbers 0-9 and letters a-z, A-Z.
   • Reason of use the purpose of use is to send your SMS messages.
   • Certificate of incorporation or Reference documents related to the SMS Sender. only supports JPG, PNG and PDF file formats.
   • Company Seal image recommend a transparent or white background image, only supports JPG and PNG file formats.

5. click the Next button at the top right corner.
6. Specify the information of registrants and click the Next button.

7. The system will display a preview of the registration form to use your sender's name.
8. Click on the Signature box, sign the name of the registrant on the form. Then click the Apply button.

9. click the Submit button at the top right corner. The Taximail team may take 5-7 business days to review and approve your request.

Note: If your sender's name is not authorized, it may be replaced by Taximail's sender is TXSMS or another sender's name, depending on the destination operator.
