Learn about sending emails via SMTP

What is SMTP?

SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, which is the Internet standard for email delivery. Also known as Protocol for sending an email. Currently, mail servers and email systems mainly use SMTP to send and receive email.

You can connect Taximail to your applications by changing SMTP settings, you can immediately send e-mails through our SMTP.

To send email via SMTP, follow these steps:

  1. Select Integrations on the main menu.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) at the bottom right corner.

Create integrations

  1. Select SMTP Relay and click bottom Next.

SMTP Relay

  1. In Specify the properties section the details are as follows.

  • SMTP relay server refers to the server used to connect the Taximail.
  • Encryption refers to the access code of the protocol.
  • Username is the server name.
  • Password means password, user can change password by clicking the Generate new password button.

Note: In the Server, Username, Encryption field, the data can not be changed.

  1. The "Email header parameters" details are as follows
  • Transactional Group tagging refers to the tags used for sending an email.

X-TM-Transc-Group

  • Message ID numbers for email citations.

X-TM-Ref-Msg-Id

  • Template key numbers for the template reference.

X-TM-Template

  • Template name means the sender name.

X-TM-Template-Name

  • FROM name means the from name.

X-TM-From-Name

  • FROM address means the sender's email address.

X-TM-From

  • Reply-To name means the name of the sender you want to reply to.

X-TM-Reply-To-Name

  • Reply-To address means the email address of the sender who wants to reply to the email.

X-TM-Reply-To

  • BCC address is the email addresses in BCC format.

  • Webhook mode refers to the use of Webhooks.

  1. Click Activate button to connect via SMTP Relay or Click Cancel button to cancel
